ENTRY REQUIREMENTS / LICENSES

Local and Malaysian drivers must possess a National or International license issued by SMSA or Malaysia AAM. Other foreign drivers must possess an international license accompanied by a release letter from their local ASNs.

Championship Points will only be awarded to Asia-Zone licensed drivers. Please refer to the Regulations for more information.

The Entry Form must be submitted together with:

Copy/Image of Driver's NRIC/Passport (for age verification)
Copy/Image of Driver's Competition License
Entry Fee Payment as stipulated on the Form

ENTRY FEE

Cadet - S$400 per round. Entry Fee is inclusive of X30 Rookie Engine, Carburettor, and Exhaust usage only. No other parts will be provided.

Junior and Above - S$750 per round. S$3,300 Package Rate for all 5 rounds. Entry must be received no later than 27/02/16 to qualify for the Package Rate. Entry Fee is inclusive of X30 Engine, Carburettor, CDI, and Exhaust usage only.

Late entries received less than 2 weeks before Race Day will be strictly subject to an additional penalty fee of S$100. Exceptions may be made with the Organiser’s permission if such arrangements are made AHEAD OF TIME, provided there are reasonable grounds for doing so. No other exceptions will be made. We seek your co-operation and understanding.

Age: 8 to 13 on the year of birth in 2016

Engine: IAME X30 Rookie 60cc RL

Minimum Weight: 110kg

Junior Category

Age: 12 to 16 on the year of birth in 2016

Engine: IAME X30 125cc RL TaG w/ Junior restricted exhaust

Minimum Weight: 145kg

Senior Category, Class A and Class B

Age: 15 and above on the year of birth in 2016

Engine: IAME X30 125cc RL TaG

Minimum Weight: 155kg

Master Category, Class A and Class B

Age: 30 and above on the year of birth in 2016

Engine: IAME X30 125cc RL TaG

Minimum Weight: 165kg

Veteran Category, Class A and Class B

Age: 45 and above on the year of birth in 2016

Engine: IAME X30 125cc RL TaG

Minimum Weight: 165kg

Special provisions may be made with regards to a Driver’s minimum or maximum age, provided the Driver has obtained the relevant authorisation from his/her ASN.
Classes A and B for the Senior, Master, and Veteran Categories are segregated according to experience (Class A for seasoned drivers, Class B for less experienced drivers) and will be classified separately. Applicants may indicate their class preference but the Organiser will have final discretion over all categorisations.

LAPTIMES AND TIMEPIECES.

The deLaCour Geneve "X30 Champion's" Timepiece.

In a historical first, Swiss luxury watchmaker deLaCour Geneve will award 4 limited edition timepieces to Overall Champions* of X30 Challenge Singapore 2016.

Each watch is valued at S$28,800 and will be specially customised to mark a triumphant moment for the race champions.

deLaCour Geneve opened it's first Asia flagship boutique in Singapore in 2013 and has won numerous Haute Horlogerie accolades and awards since then.

INDIVIDUAL ROUNDS CLASSIFICATION

Drivers will be awarded points for every Race 1 and Race 2 according to their finishing position as per the table below. The final classification of each Round will be according to the total number of points awarded to each driver for his/her finishing position in Race 1 and Race 2.

DID NOT FINISH ("DNF")

For each Race 1 and Race 2, points will be awarded to drivers (excluding those who were excluded, suspended, or disqualified) who take the Start but not the Finish, in accordance with their position at the end of the Race as follows:

Less than 2 laps completed by the Driver: No points will be awarded.
More than 2 laps but less than 75% of the Race Distance: Half the points will be awarded.
More than 75% of the Race Distance: Full points will be awarded.

OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSIFICATION

The total of all Race 1 and Race 2 results from all Rounds will be computed cumulatively (the “Championship Points”) for the final overall classification of the Event. Only Asia Zone licensed Drivers will be awarded Championship Points. The driver with the highest number of points after all Rounds wins the championships.
